Job: Senior/Principal Environmental Management Consultant, Index Environmental

Our client is currently seeking to recruit either a Senior or Principal Consultant with previus proven relevant experience gained within a consultancy environment serving primarily the industrial sectors. 

You will be a confident, dynamic and motivated individual, with a second-to-none technical track record and a desire to continually meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Candidates should possess the following attributes and experience:

•Excellent project management skills, from inception to completion, meeting deadlines and budgets, as well as excellent staff management skills;
•Experience in designing, implementing and auditing environmental management systems (IEMA auditor registration expected);
•Experience in other areas of environmental management, potentially including resource efficiency, carbon accounting; company strategy and report verification, due diligence and compliance auditing, or anything else relevant to this broad and challenging position;
•Good communications skills, preferably with experience of developing and delivering structured training at all organisational levels;
•Clear and concise project report and proposal writing skills.

You will be educated in a core science or environmental discipline or equivalent, with experience of working in a consultancy environment.
Business development skills are desirable for the Senior Consultant position and essential for a Principal Consultant.
You will be an excellent team worker, capable of using your technical and project management skills to help drive the company forward. You must be willing to travel.
