Our client is a multi-disciplinary design and engineering consultancy with offices worldwide. Due to continued rapid growth they are now looking for a Sustainability Advisor to join their successful sustainability team in Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities: • Advising clients on how to deliver the carbon zero agenda • Undertaking Sustainability Assessments for EcoHomes, Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM assessments. • Liaising with and developing relationships with key clients to obtain repeat business and cross sell additional services to them. • Contribute towards business development. • Recommend ways the client’s scores could be improved in as cost effective a manner as possible. • Ensuring assessments are produced to a robust standard, sufficient to satisfy the appropriate regulators.

This position will suit a self motivated person who would like to be part of a small dynamic team. The successful candidate will be capable of managing their own work load and diary. They will need to be adaptable, and able to use their own initiative.

They will also ideally have the following skills/experience: • Relevant experience in sustainable design and a BREEAM and/or EcoHomes/CSH qualification. • BSc in Environmental Science/relevant subject and preferably MSc with focus on Sustainability. • Experience of carrying out BREEAM &/or EcoHomes/CSH assessments where named assessor. • Excellent technical understanding of environmental sustainability • Experience of providing sustainable design advice to clients • Good communication skills, both verbal and written including excellent report writing skills • Experience of maintaining and developing good client relationships • Adaptable and flexible and able to work under pressure.
