Job: EMS/EIA/Due Diligence Principal Consultant, Sentinel Engineering LLP

My client is a leading international consultancy delivering outstanding technical advice, policy support and project and programme management services. They have a reputation for producing innovative solutions from development through to implementation, and offer a stimulating and rewarding environment in which to work. 

Their environmental assessment team are currently looking to strengthen their capabilities; they are recognized as a market leader in PPC, EHS, EMS, EIA delivery and due diligence and are looking to build upon this track record.

The successful candidate for this role will need:

 Excellent organisational abilities  Good problem solving skills  Exercising judgement  Excellent communication skills  Strong influencing skills  The ability to network effectively internally and externally  IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)

Professional skills to include:  Identifying business opportunities  Identifying and interpreting customer needs  Understanding customer and market drivers  Providing specialist advice  Analysing information  Providing business solutions  Developing strategy

You will need to have broad environmental management experience within a number of the following technical skill areas:

 Environmental impact assessments, ideally in the oil and gas sector  HSE Management systems  Environmental due diligence  Environmental audits of complex sites  Lender Independent Environmental consultant, including field experience  Experience as an influential Environmental Advisor in the private sector  Knowledge and experience of international standards and guidelines  Business development in Due Diligence, EMS or EIA  Able to deliver large and complex consulting projects  An excellent understanding of consulting models and methodologies  Results focused  Proactive  Experience of building good long-standing relationships with clients  Able to respond positively to change and drive change within an organisation

Degree in environmental, scientific or engineering disciplines (post graduate qualification desirable) with considerable experience of working in industry A recognised auditing qualification would be an advantage (IEMA)
