Job: Project Manager, Eden Recruitment Ltd

Key responsibilities will include taking small to medium renewable generation projects (up to 5MW) from point of order placement through to final hand over of the projects. The candidate will have the opportunity to build this department. Tight project management, coordination between clients & suppliers and knowledge of relevant UK regulations is required to ensure seamless implementation. The candidate would need to be able to give advice on feasibility and the practical implications of systems at the start of the project and then to work with the project engineers to engineer and implement the system on the project. Further responsibilities include aiding in the acquisition and execution of projects in the area of energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings, and the development and delivery of low or zero carbon energy supply strategies for the built environment. A practical background related to power generation and built environment is desirable, ideally with electrical and mechanical knowledge of CHP systems. The ability to take initiative and bring new ideas to the table is crucial. A practical and commercial attitude is required with excellent project management skills. This job will be located in the Manchester area.
