About Us

Scott Wilson Mining provides services to the mining industry at all stages of project development from exploration and resource evaluation through finance and development to permitting, operation, closure and rehabilitation of mine sites.

About the Role

We're looking for a Resource Geologist to join our Mining group to work on mining projects both in the UK and Overseas.

As key staff, you'd have responsibility for the assessment and/or development of Mineral Resource estimates. You'll provide independent opinions on client's mineral properties including:

Assessments of mineral exploration programs.
Recommendations on deposit exploration techniques.
Sampling and assaying quality assurance and quality controls.
Develop geological interpretations based on exploration databases.

Other responsibilities will include:

Application and maintenance of professional standards and procedures in Mineral Deposit Evaluation.
Provision of timely and efficient technical analysis and reporting.
Development and mentoring of Scott Wilson geology staff.

About You

You should have a BSc in Geology or similar; extensive experience assessing, evaluating, and interpreting mineral deposits covering a wide range of mineral deposit types and styles including gold and base metals; coupled with extensive experience in digital mineral deposit modelling.
