Position: Technical Director - Building Sustainability
Salary: Up to c.£55k

URS is currently recruiting a Technical Director to lead our building sustainability / energy practice in the North of England. Leading a team of consultants, you will be responsible for overseeing a successful and established division that primarily offers advice to developers and design teams on the incorporation of sustainability into developments and construction projects.

Main duties include: • Developing and providing energy and sustainability strategies • Overseeing BREEAM, modelling, reports and proposals • Developing business through marketing our product • Providing on going staff management to a growing team

Senior level experience in sustainability consulting is required, with a sound knowledge of renewable energy and sustainable solutions within the property and development field. Excellent communication, project management, staff supervision and marketing skills are all essential.
