Job: Principal or Senior Safety Consultant, Scott Wilson

About Us

Our nuclear services business unit provides engineering and risk management consultancy to a range of UK and overseas nuclear operators, regulators and contractors. We provide a front end design and consultancy service to underpin the feasibility and conceptual stages of projects through to the full design service and support to operation of nuclear facilities, including the decommissioning of redundant facilities and the management of radioactive wastes. 

About the Role

We're looking for 3 Nuclear Safety Consultants to work in either the Manchester, Warrington or Basingstoke office.

As a member of our SRM team, you'll be responsible for assisting with business development for our existing clients and for identifying and developing business relationships with new clients. You'll also suggest strategies and opportunities for our SRM business, as well as conducting human factors technical work and managing projects in accordance with our QA system.

About You

You'll have an honours and/or masters degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent), and demonstrable safety case production and/or management experience either with a consultancy or a licensee. You'll also have effective communication skills, good report writing skills, the ability to work effectively both individually and in a team, and a full UK driving license. Team leadership experience is also required at the Principal level.
