About the Role

A post has arisen for an Environmental Project Manager in the Peterborough office to supervise a small team of ecologists. The Peterborough ecology team forms part of the Scott Wilson ecology group, comprising of 50 plus staff across the UK.

You'll be working on a range of ecological projects derived from environmental design and management, planning, and ecological research; within the multi-disciplinary environment of an international resource consultancy. Duties will also include financial budgeting and assisting with the creation of tender documents.

About You

The post would suit an experienced consultant with strong project management skills, and sufficient experience and career confidence to supervise and support other team members. Proven experience in environment/nature conservation/ecology, preferably within a consultancy, would be advantageous in support of a good first degree (or equivalent) and membership of IEEM or IEMA. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of wildlife legislation, planning policy and EcIA and/or EIA.
