The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of consultancy business in wind energy within the United Kingdom. A key element of this will be meeting the needs of the current client base and expanding the portfolio of services available to them. You must be confident managing and executing projects at a senior level. You will be responsible for acquisition of new projects, for client management and networking. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to recruit and build your own team of wind energy experts and manage their development.

The Candidate

• Proven experience in wind energy, either project development or consultancy.

• Knowledge of UK wind energy developments and an established UK network in the sector (project developers, authorities, utilities, consultants, banks, investors).

• Vision and ability to set realistic and ambitious goals and able to realize them

• Experience in consultancy services related to wind energy project development (such as scoping studies, feasibility studies, consenting process, wind resource assessments and impact studies)

• Strong analytical skills, solution oriented approach.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong commercial attitude and entrepreneurial skills in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive market place.
