Job: Development Manager, Eden Recruitment Ltd

The Development Manager will have the dual objectives of strengthening and growing our client’s sector business with existing and new clients and of assisting in developing identified clients with growth opportunities, particularly in the local region where the Commercial Manager is based. The overall purpose of the role will be to deliver enhanced sales capacity and capability by direct selling, and by influencing success in sales activities. The scope of the role will involve a strong element of mentoring focussing on preparing proposal and project managers developing their business development skills. In order to be successful you must have previous experience in some or more of the following areas: a proven background gained within an environmental or Health & Safety consultancy including specific experience managing client relationships, experience of managing sales/development plans and an understanding of basic financial metrics, experience of multi-disciplinary projects going beyond one core technical area, a good working knowledge of client terms and conditions of contract, a successful track record of developing business and the ability to demonstrate the highest possible leadership qualities through high standing with clients, markets and colleagues. The role will suit a high calibre individual who has strength in their commercial ability with an aptitude to solve business issues. A competitive remuneration is offered.
