Job: Principal / Associate / Associate Director – EIA co-coordinator, Eden Recruitment Ltd

Working together with other senior managers the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing the environmental business in the North West, delivering a range of mainly EIA /SEA and sustainability projects and developing new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be a commercially oriented individual with an excellent technical ability in EIA and a proven track record in managing significant EIA projects. The ideal candidate should also be capable of assuming management responsibilities and would be expected to contribute to the development and leadership of the environment team in Manchester. Specific responsibilities include: Leading delivery of mainly EIA and SEA projects to major clients including residential and retail developers, utility companies and national and regional development agencies, liaising with statutory and non-statutory consultees to agree assessment methodologies, undertaking technical assessments and report/chapter writing as appropriate, business development and team recruitment, mentoring and development. In addition to EIA experience, the candidate should have a particular environmental specialism. Experience of team leadership and mentoring and client/ business development are key to this role. You should have a good relevant degree and MSc and ideally will be a member of a relevant professional institute (such as IEMA). An excellent remuneration is offered.
