Job: Principal Energy Consultant, Eden Recruitment Ltd

The role includes developing and growing a portfolio of energy-related work areas such as: energy minimisation advice to property managers, energy surveys and audits, renewable energy feasibility studies, carbon footprinting and energy supply procurement. The successful candidate will be required to take on an existing workload of projects and develop new work through business development activities with internal and external clients, including clients in the public and private sectors. Initially you will be expected to deliver a workload which will include proposal writing, project work, client liaison and reporting, but as the team grows you will need to share tasks appropriately. You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record in growing an energy-related business. The role will involve close liaison with colleagues involved in energy work including M&E and sustainability specialists. Candidates are expected to be educated to degree level in a relevant subject and ideally will hold further qualifications such as a Master’s degree in relevant subject, have chartered status, or be a member of the Energy Institute etc. An excellent salary and benefits package is offered.
