An international professional services consultancy are looking for a dedicated professional to take on the role of Senior Environmental Consultant to lead the environmental team. Client focussed with excellent communication skills, you will project manage and deliver work as the leader of a growing UK-wide team. You will be expected to lead the development of the business by generating sales through internal networking and from new clients.

Your consultancy experience should include an excellent all rounded ability in environmental services, full understanding of legislation and a background in the developing environmental management systems, Phase 1 environmental assessments and waste management strategies. They are also looking for experience of strategic environmental and sustainability advice including BREEAM, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on the role of Senior Environmental Consultant. You should be client focussed with excellent communication skills, you would be required not only to project manage and deliver work as part of the environmental team but to develop their environmental service capability. Some health and safety qualifications / experience would be a plus. Skills / Experience Required

- Excellent client facing and communication skills - Experience in the provision of: - Environmental Management Systems - Phase 1 Environmental Assessments - Waste Management Strategies - Construction environmental services including auditing and a knowledge of CEEQUAL - Sustainability services including BREEAM (preferably BREEAM Retail) - High level strategic environmental / sustainability advice - Full understanding of current and upcoming legislation with ability to recognise market opportunities - MIEMA (or AIEMA with clear timetable for full membership) - Consultancy experience preferable but not essential In return, they offer an outstanding benefits that you would expect from a truly global organisation.
