Position: Senior Environmental Consultant
Salary: £29,000 - £36,000

You will have a strong geo-environmental or engineering background with an Environmental Engineering, Geology, Physics or Chemistry degree and post graduate qualification. You must have extensive experience, preferably with a geo-environmental consultancy involved in contaminated land assessment and remediation work. You should have experience with working on large scale site investigation and remediation projects and must be an excellent project manager with a proven track record.

Other beneficial skills would include: · Project management of contaminated land remediation design and implementation · Proposal writing and business development and experience with preparing major tenders and proposals · Management of large scale ground investigations and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary site investigation teams · Undertaking groundwater fate and transport modelling including use of CONSIM and R&D Paper 20 · Undertaking human health risk assessment including CLEA, RBCA and SNIFFER · Track record of successful negotiations with Regulators including EA and local councils · Nuclear physics/decommissioning · Radiological Protection Supervisor · Health Physics Monitoring · Waste assessment and classification
