They have an opening for an experienced remediation and construction management professional to contribute to and lead major growth in the Remediation and Construction Management business. This is an exciting opportunity to apply and extend existing contract management and business building skills and experience to a rapidly growing business area, and to work on interesting, challenging and dynamic projects across the UK.

You will be required to:  Offer clients a full range of site-based services, from investigation through to design, build and operation phases of site remediation and management.  Market Professional Construction Management effectively, leading to the identification, targeting and successful pursuit of suitable opportunities with key clients.  Effectively manage bid processes with sub-contractors leading to the competitive procurement of subcontractors.  Prepare successful bids for major remediation projects, based on effective pricing models.  Successfully manage contracts won, with significant focus on management of sub-contractors, ensuring that client requirements are met (time, quality, budget/profitability/RONR, cash flow, safety). You will need experience in:  Successful management of large-scale competitive procurement processes, including the preparation of appropriately sized bid packages.  Successful negotiation of contracts, with clients and sub-contractors.  Effective management of contractors/sub-contractors, leading to successful completion of contacts to client specifications of quality, time and budget and to meet internal financial rates of return and risk management requirements.  Relevant construction and/or remediation experience.  Sub-contractor management, including pre-tender negotiation  Construction/remediation health and safety management  Environmental legislation Ref: HMC231 Heather McCaffrey 0121 265 2570 Hmccaffrey@bbt.co.uk
