Job: Hydrogeologist, Beresford Blake Thomas

My client is a rapidly expanding engineering and environmental consultancy with over 80 offices in the UK.

They are presently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Hydrogeologist to work with them in South East England on a range of hydrogeological and water resources projects.

The work will be UK based and it is therefore essential that the applicant is familiar with UK hydrological conditions and methods. Additional skills and experience within the consulting sector would be of benefit.

Candidates should have a post graduate qualification in hydrogeology and project related experience, be chartered or working towards professional qualifications with the Geological Society, ICE or CIWEM and seeking to develop business, technical and managerial skills within an expanding water team.

The successful candidate should be familiar with UK water industry and Environment Agency hydrogeological procedures, methods and regulations and have an in depth knowledge of industry standard groundwater flow, hydrogeological, hydrochemistry and GIS software and have experience in groundwater sampling, borehole design and construction supervision, monitoring and pumping test analysis

You will be expected to demonstrate good communication skills, both written and oral, possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a multi disciplinary team as well as within project teams or as an individual specialist.

The remuneration package will be dependent upon age and experience but would be based around a competitive salary and leave package.
