Position: Senior Noise & Vibration Specialist
Salary: £27,000 - £36,000

This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in noise and vibration within a large multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy. Continued success in securing a diverse range of environmental commissions has created an opportunity for acoustics specialists to complement my clients existing team of acoustics staff throughout the country.

You are likely to have a strong technical background in noise and vibration and experience of assisting in or leading the noise/vibration inputs to EIAs for a wide range of developments, typically around five years' relevant experience. There is a preference, but it is not essential, that you are proficient in the use of large area noise modelling packages, preferably LIMA, whilst additional experience in GIS or CAD would be beneficial.

A detailed knowledge of noise/vibration Standards and legislation will be essential as will knowledge of key factors influencing different technical topics. Corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics is desirable. Additional experience in workplace noise/vibration assessments and building acoustics work would also be beneficial.
