Job: Technical Discipline Manager Energy and Carbon Team, Huntblue

Our clients expertise and capabilities extend across a wide range of power generation technologies including renewable sources, such as wind, hydroelectricity, biofuels and energy from waste, as well as fossil fuels and nuclear. Their services help energy generators to develop and manage their generation and distribution infrastructure. In addition, our client can help companies manage energy and carbon at their existing and proposed facilities and identify the risks and opportunities from climate change.

In this role you will be an Energy Consultant who has the proven ability, or the obvious potential, for business development and the development of a technical team. The candidate should also have the technical experience and knowledge to carry out energy-related project work, such as energy management strategies, feasibility assessments and energy audits, and should have proven project delivery skills. The candidate should be a good, presentable communicator and previous experience in several business sectors would be an advantage.

Skills Required:

• MSc and/or recognised energy-related qualification preferred but not essential. • A keen interest in energy markets and related environmental legislation • Ability to work alone or as part of a team • Positive outlook and approachable manner • High level of energy and enthusiasm • Ability to be flexible and multi-task • Good communicator • Be a self starter • Client facing experience and skills
