Job: Energy and Carbon Specialist, Huntblue

 Our client offers a comprehensive consultancy service, across a wide range of engineering and environmental disciplines, providing services to both public and private sector clients. They employ over 300 professional, technical and administrative staff who have a simple goal: they don’t want to be one of the biggest consultancies, but aim to be one of the best.

Our client has extensive experience in assisting clients with the development of carbon-based and alternative forms of energy. They have been involved in clean coal technology, renewable energy and strategic energy projects both in the UK and overseas. This consultancies particular specialisms include: coalbed methane, underground coal gasification and renewable energy.

In this role you will have proven ability or obvious potential for business development within the expanding climate change sector coupled with the technical experience and knowledge to carry out energy related project work such as energy management strategies, feasibility assessments and energy audits.

Skills Required:

• Preferably hold an energy related degree level qualification or equivalent and be a EU ETS verifier although this is not essential. • Will also be an effective communicator with the ability to work at client board level with proven project delivery skills. • Multi sector experience would be advantageous. • Good communicator • Be a self starter • Client Care
