Our client is a leading International Company in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate change. With more than 350 employees in eleven countries, they deliver sustainable energy services and innovations.

The company has a well functioning and steadily growing international wind energy group located in various major European cities. In the UK, the wind energy group has recently acquired a client with a considerable portfolio of projects and as a result, is now looking for a Wind Energy Consultant.

In this position, you will be responsible for the development of consultancy business in wind energy in the UK. A key element of this will be meeting the needs of the current client base and expanding the portfolio of services available to them. You must be confident managing and executing projects at a senior level. You will be responsible for acquisition of new projects, for client management and networking. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to recruit and build your own team of wind energy experts and manage their development.

Your profile • Proven experience in wind energy, either project development or consultancy. • Knowledge of UK wind energy developments and an established UK network in the sector (project developers, authorities, utilities, consultants, banks, investors). • Vision and ability to set realistic and ambitious goals and able to realize them • Experience in consultancy services related to wind energy project development (such as scoping studies, feasibility studies, consenting process, wind resource assessments and impact studies); strong analytical skills, solution oriented approach. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong commercial attitude and entrepreneurial skills in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive market place.
