A client of ours are rapidly expanding Highways team is looking for a technician to work on various projects ranging from £0.1m to £5m. This role will involve documenting technical and project related material, identifying and resolving problems and notifying management if there are any required changes. Reporting to a Senior Engineer and receiving guidance and direction from other team members you will take responsibility for drawing preparation and amending/implementing a quality system for drawing production. You will produce drawings using AutoCAD and/or MX, providing general drawing office assistance and undertaking simple site surveys and inspections. You will be expected to maintain and develop knowledge of current professional thinking through available training and individual study and learning.
