Are you an experienced and self-motivated emissions monitoring consultant? You could be part of a busy team – or even lead it – on monitoring contracts.

The Environmental Measurement Group provides consultancy services and measurement science solutions to government and commercial clients. In particular, it delivers a wide range of UKAS accredited practical emissions monitoring contracts for refineries, power stations and waste incinerators, measuring particle matter and gaseous pollutants. It also promotes good source emissions measurement practice through training and consultancy contracts and carries out instrument type approval and development work with equipment manufacturers.

You should have a Physics or Chemistry degree or other relevant discipline and personal MCERTS qualifications – to Level 2 as a Higher Research Scientist or Level 1 as a Research Scientist. There are opportunities to work on other environmental monitoring and consultancy contracts and carry out fieldwork throughout the UK, which you could do from home.
