Job: Environmental Manager – Dubai, Allen & York Ltd

This company are a leading property development company in the Middle East. They currently seek a Senior Environmental Manager with experience in the construction sector to ensure environmental compliance with international best practice guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing environmental compliance systems and environmental management practices within project management teams in coordination with company’s Environmental Department. This will involve • Managing the environmental management of all construction contractors on site. • Implementing environmental monitoring programs, assessing water, groundwater, air, noise, ecological parameters. • Liaising with stake holders.

Applicants must have: • Proven ability to prepare Environmental Management Plans and deliver them through an effective tailored Environmental Management System. • Experience in all aspects of the day to day management of a team of professional environmental practitioners, including providing instruction, mentoring, training and guidance. • Capable in all aspects of tender management, contract negotiations, program and budget control, report review. • Environmental auditor accreditation or similar.
