Job: Senior Consultant- Waste Management/Permitting Specialist, Huntblue

Our client is a large environmental company whose strength is the diversity, variety and creative of its people built up over 60 years in consultancy. Our client deals with a broad range of skills, which in turn has allowed them to build a comprehensive service portfolio and applied experience in a wide range of markets.

You will have a good working knowledge of hazardous waste management including classification and treatment. The role will involve providing hazardous waste technical support to a range of projects including audits, due diligence, procurement and remediation on behalf of both private and public sector clients. You will be responsible for client communication and managing client relationships effectively in addition to your technical involvement in projects in areas such as recycling, waste management, plant licensing and engineering operations.

Experience:

Five years or more experience of hazardous waste treatment is essential. Familiarity with waste contract procurement, waste legislation as well as planning, licensing or permitting would also be useful as will consultancy experience.
