Our Client is a very established consultancy with a successful track record in performance in environmental field. They deal with a broad range of skills, which in turn has allowed them to build a comprehensive service portfolio and applied experience in a wide range of markets.
The role will involve you:
• Having a good working knowledge of waste composition, recycling, collection, treatment and disposal. • You will be responsible for delivering high quality technical work packages and reports. • Project managing small projects or tasks and providing technical support into large multi-disciplinary projects. • Support business development within the sector and provide technical input into projects in waste composition, recycling, contract procurement and due diligence both within the public and private sectors.
Experience:
• Around 3 years experience in one or more of the following areas: • Waste collection • Recycling; treatment • Disposal • Waste policy/strategy • Legislation.
In this role you will be responsible for providing support to senior project team staff in the areas of: waste collection; recycling; treatment; disposal; waste policy/strategy, and legislation. Familiarity with waste management legislation, waste management licensing, PPC permitting would be an advantage.
Education and Skills:
• BSc Engineering or Environmental Technology/ Management • MSc Waste Management/ • Well organized • Team worker • Customer Focused • Good Communicator • Effective Report Writer • Valid Driving Licence
