Job: Waste Planning Consultant, Huntblue

They are looking to recruit and Waste Planning consultant with the following skills and experience:

• Waste Planning advisory work for Local Authority clients. • Waste Plan Development & Consultation. • Prepare planning applications for WM facilities. • Advise clients on implications of Planning permissions and assist in compliance • Assist in preparation of PPC and WM license applications, exemptions and appeals • Advise clients on planning implications of proposed developments and procurement schemes (eg PFI) • Assist in preparation of EIA for planning applications • Site audits and surveys to identify planning issues/general waste management issues • Bidding and Marketing. • Project Management

Planning experience (the more the better) in local authority and/or developer and/or consultancy is essential for this role. Experience of minerals and waste planning issues is also desirable.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Essential - Relevant Planning Degree Membership of Professional Body (RTPE etc.) • Desirable - Relevant masters Degree • Commercial awareness /Team Player/Stand alone
