NetRegs Sector Co-ordinatorBristol / flexible • £27,100 - £30,800 + benefits
The NetRegs website provides small businesses with free, easy to understand information and guidance about what environmental legislation means for them.
This is a great opportunity for you to influence business behaviour across the UK. In this varied, fast-moving role you’ll find yourself guiding businesses on everything from End-of-Life Vehicles to Japanese knotweed.
You will review, research and update site content, translating regulations into every day language that resonates with readers, while maintaining best web practice and house-style. You’ll work with legal and environmental experts to take copy from draft to approval, so great written and verbal communication skills, combined with the ability to influence at all levels, are essential. You’ll build relationships with small and medium sized businesses (SMEs), improving your understanding of them to better meet their needs. From indentifying usability improvements to providing technical input to other teams, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the site.
You’re already up-to-speed with environmental law and, ideally, have experience of working with SMEs. You know how to use plain English to communicate to busy business owners and possess the confidence and credibility to present your work to groups of all sizes. You’re organized and as comfortable working on your own as in a team. You’re familiar with issues such as usability and accessibility and, ideally, content management systems.
