Salary: £20000 - £25000

My client is one of the largest engineering consultancies in the UK. They were established in 1938 and currently employ over 18000 staff with a current turn over of £1.26 billion. They have an excellent reputation for their highly professional approach to their clients and employees.

Qualifications: first degree to be in a subject such as Geology, Earth Sciences or equivalent. Further to this, an MSc in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject would be ideal.

Experience: any experience in the sector would be ideal.

Duties:

Field work

Trial pitting

Writing technical reports

Ground investigation

Site investigation

Typical projects

This role is an engineering geology/geotechnical role. You will be based in the Manchester area and carrying out projects across the North of England. In this role, you will be carrying out work including such things as site investigation, trial pitting, field work and writing technical reports.
