Position: Geotechnical Engineer - Leeds
Salary: £18000 - £25000

Qualifications: Ideally your first degree will be in a subject such as Earth Sciences, Geology, Geosciences or similar with ideally an Masters qualification in Soil Mechanics, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or similar.

Experience: experience in a similar role would be advantageous

Their main international centres are based in China, Hong Kong, Eastern Europe and Southern Africa to name a few. They provide sustainable, integrated solutions to meet the planning, engineering, management and environmental needs of their clients across such sectors as transport, property and the environment.

Duties:

Design of geotechnical site investigations

Produce accurate and interpretive reports

Desk studies

Interpretation of data

Trial pitting, design of earthworks, foundation design and slope stability

Typical projects

Projects will be varied including for example Brownfield site regeneration projects, road and rail projects and environmental projects.
