Graduate Engineering Geologist - Preston

£15,000 for initial training contract period + benefits + superb training scheme

Penguin have a great opportunity for a Graduate in the geological sciences to join a leading northwestern ground investigation contractor. They are on the lookout for a graduate engineer to join the team to be trained in the essentials of geotechnical site investigation and assessment. The offices are based in Preston but sites will cover most areas of the northwest of England.

Duties:

Desk study and factual report writing

Site investigation design and management

On site management of third party contractors

Site Walkovers, trial pitting, window sampling

Site investigations and assessment to BS5930

Typical Projects

Our client as a ground investigation contractor, undertakes site investigation and assessment for newbuild residential and commercial developments in the NW.
