Job Description A leading engineering, design and environmental engineering consultant requires a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their busy and expanding team in the Warrington branch. This role comes with excellent promotional prospects.

About the Role • Design and management of ground investigations, preparation of desk studies and interpretative reporting • Foundation design and slope stability assessments • Projects include rail, highways, infrastructure and development with clients including developers, major contractors, the Highways Agency, major infrastructure suppliers and Network Rail. • Training and support of more junior team members • Project management • Liaison with clients

About You • Degree in geology, engineering geology, or civil engineering • MSc/MEng in geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, soil mechanics, foundation engineering or similar would be desirable • Working knowledge of relevant British Standards • Good interpretative reporting and geotechnical design skills • Excellent communication skills • UK driving licence • Some knowledge of contaminated land would be an advantage
