Position: Technical Director of Geotechnics
Salary: £40000 - £50000

Qualifications: Ideally an MSc in relevant subject, for example Geotechnical Engineering.

Experience: Proven experience in the field with experience of management.

My client currently employs 3000 people across 30 offices in the UK and Europe. They are an award winning international consultancy. They specialise in buildings, transport and environmental services and have an outstanding reputation for quality and innovation and this is reflected in their annual turn over which is in excess of £160M.

Duties:

Leading a team of 10-12 geotechnical engineers

Geotechnical design

Interpretation of data

Mentoring of less experienced staff

Writing technical reports

Management of site investigations

Typical projects

Due to the size of the company, the projects you will be working on will be varied. Projects will include work in the sectors such as civil, transport, environmental, waste management, building and transport.
