Job: Senior Energy Structural engineer, Beresford Blake Thomas

Our client who is a leading consultancy in the built, natural and social environment, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work within the Energy Division responsible for specialist structural engineering design projects from inception to completion in power, industrial and other sectors.

The role requires attendance at project meetings, liaising with other disciplines and producing a detailed design and specification to meet with design and construction programmes, design and detailing work appropriate to the project. This may include detailed steelwork fabrication drawings. It also requires contribution to internal management of projects and associated resourcing appropriate to experience and capability.

Reporting to Associates depending upon the project and the individual. Key Skills will include:

 Sound knowledge of structural design in concrete and steel structures, as well as experience in other structural materials.  Computer literate with knowledge of design and analysis programmes  Understanding of the CDM Regulations and designers responsibilities

Qualifications needed:

 Experienced Chartered Engineers (either IStructE or ICE), recently Chartered or near-Chartered
