The role will involve development and management of a new regional business discipline. You will be developing ecological business and expand existing business. You will have a professional background in ecology in a consultancy and provide technical expertises. Desirable experience within both public sector as well as commercial consultancy track record. Contacts and track record within Government Departments and Agencies is essential.

Establish a focussed ecological business in Scotland that delivers internally as well as in the external market place Establish, grow and manage a dedicated team of consultant ecologists and take responsibility for professional development and performance of that team. Grow multidisciplinary business links. Establish new and expand existing major client accounts. Promote national and international ESL development & delivery. Take business lead in one ecological field to be developed (e.g. coastal/marine or aquatic). Take responsible for client care and technical competency.
