Position: Senior / Principal Ecologist
Salary: Dependent on Experince

The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to write reports, undertake ecological impact assessment and design of ecological mitigation. Experience of project management and an ability to liaise with statutory/non-statutory bodies and clients is required. Experience of having worked in a consultancy environment would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a group but will also be self-motivated, recognising that the nature of the work will require some level of unsocial hours.

You will be responsible to senior personnel for successful management of projects and supervision of junior staff.

As a minimum you will have a first degree in environmental or biological science and preferably a relevant second degree. Your track record in species and habitat survey and experience of survey, impact assessment and mitigation for at least one European Protected Species is essential.

Full Membership of IEEM (MIEEM) would be an advantage and a full driving licence essential.
