Job: Geo-Environmental Engineer, Beresford Blake Thomas

Job Description

My client is aiming to fill a vacancy at their main office in Buckinghamshire. They are a prestigious firm that are a vertically integrated contaminated land consultancy and remediation management contractor employing some 60 people at 4 UK locations. They provide contaminated land services in to both their internal and external clients (developers, house builders, land owners). They are a provider of specialist services for assessment through to remediation of former defence sites, and UXO risk assessment.

Person Specification

The successful candidate should be degree qualified with solid experience in the field (and, ideally, an MSc in Geology or related earth-science subject). They should have an in-depth understanding of land quality assessments and a good appreciation of the related environmental legislation and regulatory framework.

The role will involve undertaking deskstudies and ground investigations for property acquisitions and site redevelopments. The successful candidate should be looking to make an impact in a highly professional and multidisciplinary team with a progressive, dynamic approach.
