Salary: £26,000 - £35,000

My client, leading consultancy, is looking for a qualified BREEAM/ EcoHomes Assessor to join thier expanding team.

The post is based at Cardiff office which provides a full range of environmental and sustainability assessment services including:

All of the Building Research Establishments Environmental Assessment Methods standard and bespoke schemes
The NHS Environmental Assessment Tool (NEAT)
The Schools Environmental Assessment Method (SEAM)

The ICE’s Civil Engineering Environmental Quality Assessment and Award Scheme (CeeQual) and the successful candidate will be required to act as a Consultant for a diverse sector of clients/ projects including healthcare, education, defense, law and order, regional development, and infrastructure.

The post will require undertaking any of assessment methods mentioned, and as such the candidate should have a sound background knowledge of the built environment including sustainable construction processes; energy monitoring and reduction techniques; waste reduction and recycling; air, land and water pollution protection and ecological enhancement strategies.

Further training will be considered as necessary and Continued Professional Development will be required.

A personal interest in sustainability issues would be advantageous.
