Position: Associate Director Sustainability Appraisal
Salary: £40000-£48000

The company is actively seeking am Associate level consultant to work from their London team. The main duties and responsibilities will be to lead a current team of consultants on sustainability appraisal and Sustainable design. You will work along side the business director leading the team and liaising with a variety of clients and other teams within the business. You will be responsible for the delivery of sustainability appraisal and deign of implementation plans.

You will have a degree in environmental management or engineering

A good amount of post-graduate experience in an relevant environmental role (preferably good amount of development and construction projects)

A working knowledge of current environmental and waste legislation

An understanding of environmental aspects of construction activities (ecology, noise, waste etc) and appropriate mitigation measures

An understanding of EMS and the requirements of ISO 14001

Qualities Required

Excellent communications skills

Ability to work objectively when under pressure

Practical approach to on site environmental management

A working knowledge of IT applications

A full driving licence
