In acompany like ours, the challenges you face will be as varied as the policies that govern them. It’s not just about adhering to high standards; it’s about advising, training and leading - providing a first-class assurance service and helping us make sure that our teams are safe, up-to-date, clear and confident about how we tackle environmental issues. As such, we are now looking for environmental professionals, with a broad understanding of environmental assessment and assurance, to join the team.

Group Leader - Environmental Assessment£45,000 - £51,000 (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits

Your role will be to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of environmental impact and risk assessment tools for the facilities – and for our customers. You’ll provide assessments of Best Available Techniques for Environmental Permitting and for the determination of the Best Practicable Means under Statutory Nuisance and the Radioactive Substances Act. Alongside your technical expertise you’ll demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate a team, whilstalso being able to influence and communicate at all levels of the organisation – including key stakeholder groups and, in particular, environmental regulators.

Environmental Advisor£25,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits

This is a specialist supporting role within environmental services. You’ll help maintain and develop the company environmental management system (EMS) and provide expert advice on risk management and best practice. As well as advising on your specialist area you’ll keep awareness and training to a high standard across the board. With experience in a relevant field and knowledge of UK legislation, you’ll be up-to-date with ISO14001 requirements and have experience of operating within either the Radioactive Substances Act 1993 or Environmental Permitting would be an advantage.
