Consultant to head up Ford Consulting Group Ireland Operation

Due to our increasing level of project work in Ireland, Ford Consulting Group is looking to recruit a Senior/Principal Consultant to help establish a permanent operation in Ireland. We are a specialist contaminated land consultancy practice mainly working for industry and developers of industrial land.

You will probably have a minimum of 8-10 years of consulting experience with a good first degree in science and probably an MSc or PhD in a relevant subject (preferably hydrogeology; or possibly hydrochemistry or pollution control and engineering). Good project experience linked to hands-on, detailed assessment and remediation of contaminated land is considered a worthy substitute for academic qualifications beyond the degree level.

You will be a numerate, hard working team player, who is a natural communicator and passionate about what you do and want to do. You will have industrial and developer clients who value you for your focus, technical ability and delivery skills. You will work under the direction of Dr. Marcus Ford, who has lived and worked in Ireland in the past, to grow the Irish business in a sustainable way. The office location is yet to be decided and the successful candidate may influence this decision.
