My client is one of the largest engineering consultancies in the UK. They have an excellent reputation for their highly professional approach to clients and employees. They were established in 1938 and employ over 18000 staff. Their turnover currently stands at £1.26 billion.

Qualifications: BSc in Geology, Earth Sciences or equivalent. An MSc in Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering would be an advantage.

Experience: any experience in the field would be ideal.

Duties:

Trial pitting

Writing technical reports

Ground investigation

Field work

Site investigation

Typical projects:

This role is a graduate engineering geologist/geotechnical role. You will be based in the Manchester area and will be carrying out work and projects across the North of England. This role will include duties such as site investigations, trial pitting, field work and writing technical reports to name a few.
