My client is a leading engineering consultancy and is looking for someone to provide senior-level support to their Environment Manager who leads a wide range of projects. A key focus for you will be ensuring that their Environmental Management Strategy is communicated to all staff, and is incorporated effectively into their everyday working practices.

You will also be involved in a variety of other important activities, including: providing line management to the Environmental Stewards; advising colleagues on legal requirements; preparing reports for the client; presenting toolbox talks on environmental issues; and carrying out internal environmental audits on sites and in offices.

Qualified to degree or diploma level in an environmental subject, you will bring considerable professional experience that includes managing projects, teams and subcontractors. A driving licence and good presentational skills are essential, as is the proven ability to develop and implement EMS.
