Job: Sustainability Consultant, Beresford Blake Thomas

My client is a rapidly growing sustainability consultancy within the built environment and offers a progressive role within their forward thinking team. 

They are looking for a consultant to start immediately. The individual should be prepared to hit the ground running on a number of projects based nationally and internationally.

The consultant will conduct a range of work within the following areas:  EcoHomes, BREEAM, CEEQUAL  Sustainability Appraisals  Corporate Sustainability Strategy  Design Advice  Renewable Energy  National and Local Sustainability Strategies  Training and presentations

You should have:  experience in construction and / or consultancy  MSc / BSc in Environmental Architecture, Environmental Assessment/Design, Sustainable Development or equivalent  BREEAM and / or CSH (EcoHomes) registered/ trained The roles and responsibilities of the senior consultant will be as follows:  Project management – delivering sustainability projects at all stages, which will include: o proposal preparation o client liaising and management o technical review o financial management (negotiations and billing)  Marketing/ ‘Work Winner’ – the job will allow an individual the opportunity to win new work and expand the business.  Team management – assist in the mentoring and training of team members. Recruitment of new team members as required.  Technical – ensure that Ferguson Brown Sustainability’s high productive quality is maintained and enhanced, where appropriate.  Travel will be required to site locations and between company offices. All project costs will be fully reimbursed.
