Job: Contaminated Land Specialist, Beresford Blake Thomas

One of the UK’s leading land acquisition and reclamation companies require Contaminated Land Specialists at their Bristol or Cardiff office.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of geotechnical and environmental specialists working on a steadily increasing range of small to large and complex brownfield land regeneration projects. You will need to be well versed in the investigation and characterisation of sites, the assessment of land condition and in the use of the appropriate risk assessment tools.

The role will require the successful candidate to have the necessary experience to take ownership of remediation projects from the writing of remediation strategies through supervision of remediation processes and the production of validation reports.

You will have a broad knowledge of the relevant guidance and legislation and will be expected to provide advice and support to other members of the in-house remediation team, land buyers and developers. An important aspect of the role is that the successful candidates will have the ability to communicate effectively with relevant authorities and other organisations.

Chartered status in a relevant discipline is an advantage. Excellent remuneration packages available.
