Our Professional Advisor team in Scotland is a well established, successful group that provide a number of services to the MoD on a multi-million pound facilities management contract in Scotland.
We are now looking for experienced Energy & Sustainability Advisor to join the team in our Rosyth office. This is a hugely varied role, and day to day duties will include:
• Providing technical skills and expertise on concept design, engineering, and project management of energy efficiency projects, energy management systems, and renewable technology projects. • Contributing to developing MoD projects on energy efficiency improvement programs and renewable energy development projects in Scotland. • Engaging with senior MoD and Defence Estates staff on Sustainability. • Achieving performance improvement for business and environmental sustainability within RPC(S) and on MoD Estate. • Conducting technology assessment for sustainability, Environmental Life Cycle Assessment, Project Sustainability Appraisal and DREAM Assessment. • Environmental Management Systems (EMS) implementation and running. • Developing waste management strategies.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a discipline relevant to the position as a minimum. A Post-graduate degree in energy, engineering or sustainability would be very desirable. You will have a proven track record of consulting within energy and sustainability. Candidates will be subject to Ministry of Defence (MOD) Security Clearance and would be expected to have a minimum of three years UK residency, but preferably five years.
