Salary: £15000 - £20000

Qualifications: BSc in Geology, Earth Sciences or equivalent with ideally an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics or Engineering Geology.

Experience: Any experience in the sector would be ideal

My client was established in 1987 and currently employs 9500 staff. They are one of the fastest growing design, engineering and management consultancies and have projects being carried out in over 60 countries.

Duties:

Geotechnical design

Write accurate technical reports

Trial pitting

Site investigations

Desk studies

Typical projects

Recently, my client has been awarded the maintenance and management of the highways in area 12, the North East of England. Further to this, a recent project has been the regeneration of the site near the riverbank in Bath. These are examples of work that you might be carrying out or be involved with.
