Job: Associate Director, Ecology, URS

Its an exciting time to be joining us. We are rapidly expanding our ecological service line and Director of Ecology, Professor Neil Humphries, has already established fully operational teams from our Bedford and Derby offices and plans to develop similar teams from our London, Scotland, Ireland and South West & Wales offices, as well as forming links with our European based ecological services.

We are now recruiting an Associate Director / Technical Director to establish, develop and manage of a new regional business discipline in Scotland within the context URS’s multidisciplinary business.

You will be responsible for: · Establishing, growing and managing a dedicated team of consultant ecologists · Growing multidisciplinary business links · Establishing new and expand existing major client accounts · Promoting national and international ecological service line development & delivery · Taking business lead in one ecological field to be developed

You will have extensive senior level, relevant experience in major consultancy in natural resource management with a proven track record in commercial business growth and team building. In depth knowledge of markets and extensive commercial network throughout Scotland is essential, as is a high ecological professional profile.
