Due to the continued success of our Soil & Groundwater team in Oxford we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who can manage contaminated land geo-environmental projects successfully. The role will involve project management responsibilities including liaison with clients and regulators and the ability to communicate complex environmental and geotechnical information are essential.
Our Oxford office works on a wide variety of projects from single unit ground investigations to multi-million pound property transactions and development lead projects and we are looking for strong all-rounder’s who can manage projects from inception to completion.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good experience and working knowledge of the following areas of work:
- Managing and supervising Phase 1and 2 investigations including soil and rock logging, soil and groundwater sampling and in situ testing.
- Interpretative report writing including undertaking human health risk and groundwater assessment utilising CLEA, RBCA, SNIFFER, BP RISC and EA R&D P20.
- Contaminated land remedial works outline design and specification.
- Undertaking preliminary geotechnical assessments such as basic foundation designs an advantage.
- Preparation of detailed design of contaminated land earthworks and remediation schemes an advantage.
