As part of their growth in their Irish office they are looking for a highly motivated candidate with commercial and technical expertise to join them as a Technical Manager in their Belfast office specialising in Energy and Carbon Management.

In this role you will provide the development, growth and delivery of energy management and climate change projects in Northern Ireland and to secure new work in this area. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is keen to expand upon their business development skills and who is proficient in winning new work.

Skills Required:

• A relevant science degree is essential; a post graduate qualification in addition to this would be desirable. • Knowledge and experience of working the market in Northern Ireland is essential. • Significant experience of working in energy and carbon management is required with sound technical skills in these areas, preferably gained in a consultancy environment. • Strong project management experience is essential, including the ability to manage project teams, prepare technical reports and review projects and reports. • The experience and ability to liaise with clients and build relationships is essential. • Good level of commercial acumen, with an ability to generate new work and clients. • Experience of commercial development and planning, development of market areas and sales development are all required skills for the role.
