Salary: £35-50k

The UK's leading Utility and Energy Management Solutions provider has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer in both their London and Cardiff offices.

A challenging role that offers a long term structured career path in power system design, with the possibility of career progression for the right candidate. Work with a company who provide a full suite of products and services from feasibility studies and procurement, to smart metering and bill validation.

You will be responsible for: Managing delivery of power systems design projects; Completion of detailed drawings and estimating schedules; Customer liaison and relationship management across allocated engineering projects; Maintaining awareness of developments within the energy/utilities marketplace; Representing the company at client meetings; Liaison with IT/Quality/Finance departments where appropriate; Compliance and further development of our Quality Standards (ISO 9001-2000).

You will need relevant industry or power systems design experience, managerial or supervisory experience, strong communication and commercial skills, excellent IT skills, an Electrical Engineering Degree in Power Systems, Chartered / Incorporated Engineering status and the ability to lead a team and deliver to agreed KPI's.
